Gardenworks: Starting seeds in the spring

March 2nd will be our first in-person workshop of 2023!
Join Alex Johnson from Gardenworks will be helping you get some started on seed planting for the up-and-coming gardening season. He will be discussing tips and tricks for successful starts. Starting seeds indoors is an easy, inexpensive, and increasingly popular way to raise a wide assortment of edible and flowering plants.
You can grow a far greater variety of vegetables than those available in the supermarket’s produce section, and you can grow them for a fraction of the price. You will take home a small windowsill greenhouse with your planted seeds. When:
