SUMMARY:Seed Starting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Location: Creekside Community Centre – Room 2Address: 1 Athlete’s Way\, Vancouver\, BC \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin DIGA for our first workshop of the 2026 season. \n\n\n\nThis free hands-on session will focus on simple\, practical ways to get started with seed starting at home. We’ll talk about seed sprouting tips and tricks\, succession planting\, and what participants might like to grow during the 2026 season. \n\n\n\nThe workshop will also include easy seed-starting methods\, including paper towel germination and other beginner-friendly approaches. Whether you’re new to gardening or already have some experience\, this will be a welcoming way to start the season. \n\n\n\nAll gardening supplies and seeds will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring: \n\n\n\n\na small box or container to carry seed starts home\n\n\n\nseeds to share\, if they would like\n\n\n\n\nRegistration\n\n\n\nPlease sign up online in advance. \n\n\n\nRegistration deadline: Tuesday\, April 14\, 2026\, at 4:00 PM \n\n\n\nAccessibility / format notes\n\n\n\nThis will be an in-person workshop.
