Seed Starting Workshop

Join DIGA for our first workshop of the 2026 season.
This free hands-on session will focus on simple, practical ways to get started with seed starting at home. We’ll talk about seed sprouting tips and tricks, succession planting, and what participants might like to grow during the 2026 season.
The workshop will also include easy seed-starting methods, including paper towel germination and other beginner-friendly approaches. Whether you’re new to gardening or already have some experience, this will be a welcoming way to start the season.
All gardening supplies and seeds will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring:
- a small box or container to carry seed starts home
- seeds to share, if they would like

This will be an in-person workshop. Depending on final confirmation, there may also be a short guest contribution on seed-starting tips.
